Tony Alcantar | #1 Dialect Coach

Tony Alcantar is an American from Chicago. Has a B.A. in theatre and an M.F.A. in acting from Chicago's Roosevelt University. He learned dialects from Chicago's premiere dialect coach, Belinda Bremmer.

As a standout in the Second City, Tony used these skills to create memorable characters. He also uses them as an accomplished voice actor. In Vancouver, he teachers dialects at VADA, UBCP, ImprovChicago and at various workshop sites throughout the city.

He has been the dialect coach for oscar winning actress Halle Berry, international A-List star Stellan Skarsgard, Elaine Cassidy, Elizabeth Banks, Jenna Fischer, Nathan Fillion and a whole host of other Hollywood notables. He has also dialect coached commercials, plays... to much to list!

In short, Tony is more than some guy who can do "funny voices!" He will not teach you insane vocal methods with crazy linguistic tricks; He's a trained professional who knows what Producers want and can teach you dialects using methods that you utilize right now as an actor.
