Project Synopsis
Crossfire begins with our protagonist, private detective Jack Monroe, discovering the dead body of Violet Gray in a bathtub. Through flashbacks, we learn that these two have met before, and engaged in a fast romance. But Jack's enemies prey on Violet, leaving a blood-covered message on her corpse that reads "everything you touch..." Having successfully baited Jack, someone comes to take him out.
