Project Synopsis
Tragically, Brad, our Jack-of-all-trades, family provider becomes a quadriplegic in 1987, a year before a wheelchair accessible campground is to be built in his hometown. He numbs his emotions with alcohol, pushing family and friends away as he struggles to come to terms with his new life. After many trials and tribulations, hardship, and despair, will he learn to live again?Additional Characters
Wayne - 18, male, First Nations, quiet, studious and a bit of a loner, he looks after his mom who’s in a wheelchair with MS. He begins dating Rachel and, through their blossoming relationship, he becomes more comfortable in his own skin.
Dave - 30, male, Caucasian, comical, extroverted and loves to hear his own voice. He loves beer, hunting and fishing. He’s in a relationship, though it’s not serious. He learns to think before he speaks, becoming more of a well-rounded adult.
We will be a small set and will follow all COVID precautions to make sure cast and crew are kept safe.
