Project Synopsis
What is your soul worth? Craving unlimited knowledge and influence, John Faustus makes a literal deal with the devil: 24 years of magic and power in exchange for his mortal soul. At first, the bargain feels thrilling, but as time runs out, Faustus is forced to confront the true cost of his ambition. Darkly funny, provocative, and surprisingly modern, Doctor Faustus explores what happens when the cost of power is everything.
Doctor Faustus will play at the Vancouver Fringe Festival, performing September 10-20, 2026 on Granville Island. Rehearsals will be in the evenings and weekends in July and August, 2-4 times a week.
Union and Non-Union performers welcome.
BIPOC performers are strongly encouraged to audition!
