Project Synopsis
A community of elderly Filipino spirits in the afterlife are shocked when they receive their newest resident: a 6-year-old boy. After Party is an exploration of unimaginable grief and loss, balanced with humour and levity.
Additional Information & Safety Protocols: 

This is a volunteer-based project for background performers. Catering and crafty snacks will be provided on set. Background performers are heavily featured in this film. No previous acting experience required. This is an opportunity for those looking to connect with the Vancouver film community to gain new experience, connections, and be a part of a professional set.

This project is directed, written, and produced by Filipino artists. It is the winner of the Screen BC Short Film Award and will be having its world premiere at the 2026 Whistler Film Festival!
