Project Synopsis
On his final night with his friends, a teenage boy struggles to face the emotions he’s been avoiding as everything begins to change.
Additional Information & Safety Protocols:

This film relies heavily on chemistry and a believable sense of shared history between the friend group. We are especially interested in performers who feel lived-in, grounded, and comfortable working in subtle, behaviour-driven scenes. Open to emerging actors. Authenticity and presence are valued over extensive credits.

An ensemble-driven coming-of-age drama centred on friendship, transition, and the emotional weight of growing apart.

Character 1
Aaron
Age
16-20
Gender
Male
Description
all ethnicities. Aaron is a thoughtful teen who keeps his emotions guarded as he faces leaving the only life he has known. He can joke around with friends and be present, but there is always a sense that he carries something heavier inside. He feels things deeply but struggles to express them, so much of the role is about silence, restraint, and what is left unsaid. We are looking for an actor who feels natural and can show loneliness, longing, and pressure in a subtle way. Aaron should come across as the believable emotional center of a close group of friends. LEAD
Character 2
Ali
Age
16-20
Gender
Male
Description
all ethnicities. Ali is warm, grounded, and naturally social. He’s the friend who seems a bit more mature than the rest. He’s confident but never showy, caring without drawing attention to it. Ali and Aaron were also childhood friends far before the friend group formed, so naturally he notices shifts in Aaron's moods before the rest can. We’re looking for an actor who brings ease, charisma, and emotional intelligence. This role calls for someone who can be both playful and truly dependable, the kind of teen others naturally trust. SUPPORTING
Character 3
Hann
Age
16-20
Gender
Male
Description
all ethnicities. Hann is quiet, observant, and emotionally honest. He stands out in the group because he is genuine and never puts on a show. He listens more than he speaks, notices what others overlook, and helps people feel understood without seeking attention. We are looking for an actor with a subtle presence, strong listening skills, and the ability to express deep emotion with minimal dialogue. This role should feel real, grounded, and truly human. SUPPORTING
Character 4
Alim
Age
16-20
Gender
Male
Description
all ethnicities. Alim is funny, impulsive, loud, and hard to miss. He keeps the group’s energy up, often using jokes and a bit of chaos to hide his own vulnerability. Beneath the humour, he cares deeply about his friends and is more sensitive than he lets on. We’re looking for an actor with great comic instincts, strong timing, and the ability to show real tenderness behind the bravado. Alim shouldn’t come across as just comic relief, he needs to feel unique, lovable, and emotionally real. SUPPORTING
Character 5
Violet
Age
16-20
Gender
Female
Description
all ethnicities. Violet is smart, caring, and perceptive, often sensing emotions before others do. She tries to protect people from pain before it happens, which can make her seem intense, but her actions come from real care. Violet understands Aaron better than he sometimes wants, leading to both closeness and tension between them. She pushes people to be the best versions of themselves, which most teens aren’t ready for yet. We are looking for actresses who can show tenderness, concern, and restraint in a natural way, avoiding clichés. Violet should come across as a complete person with her own emotional depth, not just as the girlfriend. SUPPORTING
Additional Characters

[SAM] 16 to 20 years old, all ethnicities male. Sam is social, playful, and comfortable in the spotlight. He can host a room effortlessly and sets the tone for the party, representing the youthful energy Aaron is about to leave behind. We are looking for an actor who brings confidence, ease, and genuine party-host energy. DAY PLAYER

[PETER] 16 to 20 years old, all ethnicities male. Peter is relaxed, youthful, and genuinely nice. He has a natural confidence that draws people in. This is a small role, but it should stand out and feel unique. We’re looking for someone with presence, an easy rhythm, and real social charm. DAY PLAYER
