Project Synopsis
'Mirrored' is a Dark Fantasy/thriller short film that revolves around a young woman knight on a quest to hunt & slay the infamous bloodthirsty Harpy; something that no one from her village has ever managed to accomplish. In the struggle of an unsuccessful attempt to trap the beast, the knight ends up transported with a cave face to face with the creature who begins to speak to her about her desires. As they converse, the knight becomes conflicted about completing her mission as the beast begins to make a strong argument to join forces, but now she must choose whether or not to trust the beast's intentions, as her life will depend on the outcome.

Ferra is a young fighter with an old soul who comes from a village of traditional & simple minded people. Her desires to be recognized and respected as a knight has made her an outcast amongst her people due to her sex and age. Despite her communities intolerance towards her ambition to join their armed forces, Ferra spent countless years combat training with the goal to slay a monster who has hunted & tormented her kind for ages, with the hopes that her victory will prove herself as a worthy soilder and make a name for herself as a hero. Personality: headstrong, determined, obsessive, stubborn, tactical.

Description
The ‘beast’ is a harpy/sphinx like creature who’s presence/power have been known & feared for centuries. Once a former god, she left the life of immortality for the excitement and chaos of the mortal realm, now granting wishes to mortals in return for partial ownership of their soul. To sustain herself in the land of the living, she feeds from the soul’s energy source and targets those who have passion or a firey drive to fuel her powers. If she does not meet anyone she finds worthy of making a deal with, eating their flesh will do just fine. The beast’s sees humans as willing players who feed her gambling habit and happily trades her powers for the love of the game and the chatastrophy that is wielded by their hand. She is not an immoral being but a entity manifested from the corruption and self-centred ambition. She reflects back the best and worst parts of the person that encounters her, showing their potential but also their deficits. Her only desire is to be entertained, no matter what way the moral scale tips. Personality: cunning, obsessive, mischiveous, honorable, controlled.
