Project Synopsis
A dark comedy about two roommates with clashing personalities who struggle to get along. One night, when one of them brings home a guy she's seeing, things take an unexpected turn as he starts to bond with the other roommate, throwing their already tense dynamic off balance.

Description
Nora is a classic B-type personality—easygoing and a bit of a procrastinator. She's an artist at heart—sensitive, thoughtful, and quietly sharp—but currently stuck in a rut, struggling with missed opportunities and creative blocks. She lacks structure and drive in her day-to-day life, and while she’s tolerant of Sophie’s high-strung ways, she can also be lazy and messy. Unlike Sophie, Nora doesn’t feel the need to compete; she’s entirely comfortable being her own person and has struggled with depression in the past. While she keeps to herself, she's more emotionally aware than she lets on. Her low-key demeanor hides a rich inner life, and though she avoids confrontation, she can hold her own when pushed. Nora's unassuming nature becomes unexpectedly magnetic when she connects with people on a deeper level—especially when it comes to film and art.

Description
Sophie is a classic Type-A personality—driven, put-together, and always on top of things. She likes structure, keeps the apartment tidy, and tends to fill silence with small talk. On the surface, she seems confident and in control, but underneath, she’s incredibly hard on herself. A lot of her self-worth is wrapped up in how others see her, especially when it comes to dating. While she genuinely tries to be kind and considerate, her insecurity shows in subtle controlling tendencies and a deep need for validation. She's often unintentionally dismissive of Nora, though not out of malice, but because she struggles to relate to Nora’s more introspective world. This is Sophie’s third date with Christian and she’s having difficulty gauging where they’re at.

Outgoing, curious, and cultured. He's confident but open-minded, and while he initially seems like Sophie’s type, his intellectual chemistry with Nora reveals deeper layers. Christian’s interest in people who challenge him intellectually becomes apparent as the evening unfolds, and although he doesn’t set out to cause tension, his easy rapport with Nora creates friction he seems only half-aware of. He is a film buff and enjoys backpacking and travelling to new places.
