Submission Instructions

We are seeking 9 versatile performers with puppeteering and singing abilities for this exciting upcoming production. All auditions are in-person.

We're Looking For:
• Skilled actors of all backgrounds and experience levels
• Performers with puppeteering experience (rod or marionette)
• Confident singers of all vocal types with ability to harmonize
• Excellent physical storytelling and ensemble collaboration skills
• Ability to bring characters to life through movement, voice, and performance

Audition Requirements:
• Prepare one song (to be provided)
• Be prepared to participate in a puppetry and movement workshop during the audition. Puppets will be provided.

We look forward to seeing performers who can combine acting, singing, and puppetry to tell this heartwarming Christmas story. Please provide a brief description of your puppeteering experience in your résumé. Please also indicate any musical instruments that you play.

Project Synopsis
A Small Miracle is an adaptation of Peter Collington’s children’s Christmas storybook, described as a deeply moving, contemporary parable. This is an ensemble show with no scripted dialogue; a chorus will underscore the production. Several characters are portrayed by puppets.
