Project Synopsis
Akito is an eccentric matchmaker with an extraordinary gift: he can see the invisible red threads connecting soulmates. Despite dedicating his life to bringing others together, he severed his own thread long ago to escape the inevitable pain of love and loss. But when he meets Aster, a skeptical young woman who mysteriously has no thread of her own, his carefully constructed beliefs about love, fate, and heartbreak begin to unravel.

Gentle, patient, and quietly confident, David immediately feels an inexplicable familiarity with Rowan. Rather than forcing their connection, he gives Rowan the space to understand it for himself. Warm and perceptive, David is also one of the few people capable of seeing through Akito's confident façade.
