Project Synopsis
A horror/slasher indie student short film about a miner, whom while mining comes in contact with a mercury like substance as it takes he body he goes on a rampage throughout the mine.
Additional Information & Safety Protocols: 

WARDROBE REQUIREMENT (All Miner Roles): Actors must provide their own dark denim overalls or rugged canvas work coveralls (earth tones, gray, or navy preferred). work boots or hiking boots are preferred but not required. Your overalls make receive safely distressed with scenic dust and fake blood.

SYNOPSIS & SET ENVIRONMENT: A gritty, atmospheric slasher tracking a crew of miners deep underground who encounter a malevolent, shifting presence. Shot inside a standing mine/cave set. All talent must be comfortable working in low-light environments, around safe theatrical atmospheric haze/fog, and must possess high physical stamina for intense horror chase scenes.

Description
Starts the scene as a standard miner before transforming into a terrifying "mercury creature." Requirements: Exceptional physical acting, creature movement, or mime/dance background. Must be completely comfortable wearing a full-body, form-fitting XL size chrome Zentai suit (including face coverage) with restricted visibility. Absolutely no claustrophobia.

Description
Principal speaking role. This character discovers the antagonist's transformation and tries to help, but goes into a violent, shock-like state upon touching the creature's mercury hand. Requirements: High-intensity vocal work (gurgling, gasping) and precise physical control. Must be comfortable having fake blood and a safe, wet silver, chrome mixture applied to their arm/hand for a prolonged close-up shot.

Principal speaking role. High-tension character who wields a makeshift torch to keep the darkness at bay. Requirements: Excellent physical coordination and spatial awareness. Must be comfortable performing energetic, defensive physical movements (waving/thrusting a prop torch) in a very low-light environment.

Principal speaking role. A brave character who attempts to fight back against the creature with a prop pickaxe before being pursued. Requirements: Strong physical coordination and stage combat awareness. Must be highly comfortable with high-speed, precision running for an intense, fast-paced, Evil Dead-style POV chase scene.

MINER EXTRAS (2–3 Background Roles / Open Age / All Ethnicities / All Genders):
Members of the mining crew who succumb to the atmosphere/entity.
Requirements: Great physical control. Must be able to perform a controlled, slow-motion collapse/fall to the ground, dropping one by one on cue.
