Project Synopsis
Clara, sunken into a state of resignation after losing a promotion for the branch supervisor at her dull corporate job to her selfish coworker Max, starts to suspect something is wrong with her complacent coworkers when they strangely start to prioritize work over their personal life just right after a visit of the CEO was announced. Everything gets fishier when the newly elected boss Max ignores the clear signs, and tries to turn off Clara's suspicions, forcing her to look through his office for answers, where she uncovers an evil scheme (which he has implemented before) from to Max to boost his career a climb up the corporate ladder, at the expense of others. The bug escapes and runs loose around the office ensuing chaos a upon it just right at the arrival of the CEO, who fires Max at the spot, giving Clara the well-deserved promotion that slowly transforms her into a selfish money hungry boss as she entraps Max into the closet room where he's exploited by the same bug he once used.
Character 1
Clara
Age
20-30
Gender
Female
Description
Clara, a 25-year-old woman who has been working most of her recent acquired adult life in dull, mindless, toxic corporate job. Jaded Clara tries her best to maneuver the workday with as little friction as possible, dealing with her complacent coworkers, and mainly, her selfish money-hungry boss. She’s a tenacious person, that can persist even when the situation is pretty bad. She’s a curious person that likes to know everything, but now, after some years working on dull jobs, that part of her has been dormant.
Character 2
Simon
Age
25-35
Gender
Male
Description
Simon, a 28-year-old man, coworker and closest friend of Clara, has always tried to go with flow, avoiding confrontation, he’s laid back, socially aware, and occasionally superficial. He has a strange optimism always present, even in the worst time. Almost to an extreme of not accepting that thing might not be okay. Around the office, he’s friendly with most of them, and he seems to be the only one who genuinely doesn’t mind doing the work.
Character 3
Max
Age
25-35
Gender
Male
Description
Max, a 27-year-old man who, for his age, has become a selfish hungry-money person, obsessed with proving himself to everyone, never secure of his own abilities. He’s a pretentious known it all supervisors of Clara’s branch. He likes to dismiss the people under him, stealing their ideas and character traits, and passing them on his own. He also loves to suck up his superiors, always trying to be looked at. He can’t read social cues, will do anything to climb up the social ladder and will claw with all his heart to stay there.
Character 4
Arasha
Age
20-25
Gender
Female
Description
The newest hire but has been here for a couple of months. Gen Z and may have overexaggerated her experience on her resume. The other employees love her but can be annoyed by her incompetence on occasion. She has a good repour with the rest of the employees
Character 5
Amanda
Age
50-60
Gender
Female
Description
Amanda with her years of experience (64-years-old) has become, without asking for it but wanting more than anything, the office mom. Her cubicle has become a reflection of her house with warm and cozy decor, almost like a grandma’s house. She’s a lonely person; she spends her time by herself doing much to nothing on her couch. She just waits for the time to clock in and dreads the time to clock out. That’s why she made sure that people around the office like her, so she can trap them into an interminable conversation that really goes nowhere specific. She’s a genuinely nice and sweet person that just looks for a glance of human connection, something that leads her to be, sometimes, a bit oblivious.
Additional Characters

Dwayne (35-45)
(Male)
Dwayne is a wise person that has accepted life as it is, not asking much but a nice place to sleep, to go to the bathroom and to die. He doesn’t enjoy many things in life but eating delicious food. Sadly, for Dwayne, he’s not immune to stress having exactly three weak points: Having enough coffee in his system to stay awake throughout the day. The dreaded deadlines And the terrible, useless, stupid printer that most days don’t work at all.

Jordana (30-40)
(Female)
Success has not completely changed Jordana; she knows where she comes from and how much sacrifice her beloved ones have put in for her to get her there.
Every day of her life tries to stay humble, to recognize that one day, everything she has and she is, can be gone in the snap of a finger. But sometimes, holding that much power as CEO, bents her morals. She always tries to put the employees first, but she’s not always successful with that.
Her experience in life has given her the insight of knowing Max’s excessive love for the company is pure crap. She has been looking for a good reason to get rid of him, but she has been pushed back by the board because of his numbers.
