Project Synopsis
Nicole has suffered from unexplained pain and recurring dreams. When she discovers a photograph of her ancestor Virginia, she recognizes a man who has been haunting those dreams. Nicole soon realizes they are not dreams at all, but inherited memories revealing a painful history carried through generations of women in her family.

When she believes something is true, she does not easily let it go, once she has something in her mind, she is determined to find the answer. She is also deeply emotional and very connected to her feelings, even when she tries to hide them. Throughout the story, Nicole experiences fear, confusion, anger, vulnerability, and grief.

Nuria is reserved, protective, cautious, and emotionally guarded. She has spent years keeping painful experiences to herself and rarely allows herself to be vulnerable. However, beneath her controlled exterior, she is deeply emotional and carries unresolved fear, guilt, and pain. She loves Nicole deeply and is willing to confront her own past when she realizes what her daughter is experiencing.
