Project Synopsis
Tommy begins to suspect something is wrong with his roommate, Mike. After discovering a hidden collection of photographs, recordings, handwriting samples, and other disturbing traces of his own life, Tommy uncovers a terrifying truth: Mike is convinced that identity can be inherited. As Tommy digs deeper, he realizes Mike has devoted himself to becoming him, collecting pieces of his life in a desperate attempt to absorb what he believes is Tommy's essence. When Mike realizes his secret has been exposed, his obsession spirals toward a horrifying conclusion as he races to claim the one thing he believes will finally make him whole. In the end, a chilling truth emerges: no stolen identity can ever fill the void within.
