Serge, an old man, who recently lost his wife spends his nights making paper boats and sending them off shore, while Marina, a
professional ballerina, who got diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease tries to live without her biggest passion. One night, however, she cannot resist and starts to dance in the gazebo, the old man notices her and she runs away, only to return the next night due to inability to leave dancing. On the other hand, Serge amazed by her dance, and finally finding a relief from the grief, the next night returns to the gazebo, notices Marina and invites her for a dance.
Character 1 Description:
An old man, whose wife, his only company just died. Hopeless for her to come back, Serge finds himself in a constant loop of sleepless nights and recurrent past emotions. He denials his grief and acceptance until he finds inspiration to finally overcome it.
Character 2 Description:
Perfectionist, professional ballerina. She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease which made her abandon her career and life dream. Marina struggles over her loss and need to embrace her current state. She goes into a journey of self-discovery while serendipity comes into her life.
